Stay-At-Home-Mum = Tai Tai??

Was reading through some forums that day, and notice this topic.

Seriously how many of you out there thinks that stay-at-home mums (or SAHM) are doing nothing at home, relaxing themselves, going shopping and doing manicures or facials everytime? 

AND YOU'RE SO FUCKING WRONG.

Unless of course Gordan is earning like $10k a month...

So you must be wondering,  

 what are you doing staying at home that is so busy??

First of all, taking care of a kid is not just play with him only. You have to cook for him, bath him, play with him, make him sleep, and if he is sick, you have to always take note of his temperature, feed him medications.... And kids being kids, they don't do as they are told.

Secondly, we need to bath and eat, and its hard to do so with a kid clinging on to you. I'm much more luckier cause at least I don't have to do the household chores, thanks to Gordan's mum, my main task is to take good care of Tyler only. But some SAHMs out there, they still have to do housework, and most of the time, it can only be done in the 1-2hrs that the child is napping.

And this is only just the basic, extra things like teaching the child some new things, some personal time for ownself, and we're only talking about if you are having 1 kid.

What if there is 2??

And you know what's the worst thing about being a SAHM? 

There's no MC or leave for you!!!

But then, usually we rarely fall sick.. haha...

And of course one of the bad things is having to hear people saying that we are so slack at home being tai tais, when we're running around like mad woman at home. And the thing is, most of the guys feel this way. Especially when they are the one bringing the bread home, they will feel frustrated at times, why are you staying home relaxing?

I used to quarrel about this with Gordan. There's no conclusion in the end, but I told him that I'll be just responsible to take of Tyler and he'll be responsible for bringing the bread. End of story.

Maybe these people ought to try 1 month of staying at home with a baby, and I promise you, you'll change you're views after a few days. 

Anyway, if you've not heard of the latest update, I'm taking care of Tyler again!

Quit my job, after discussion with Gordan that it'll be good that I stay home to take care of Tyler. He did advise me that I can work some part time job if there is, for more income. But then, we'll have to scrimp and save, meaning no more movies and restaurants!! Well, for Tyler...

Mr Dearest actually told me that his gonna buy me a ring on Christmas, somewhat meaning he's gonna propose. And if you've forgotten the last time I proposed to him, but then, I was bugging him about why is it not him propose to me. Anyway, things has been rocky these couple of months, and these words coming out from his mouth really means a lot to me. Cause it shows me that he's ready. Hope he really do it though, let's pray..

Darling, the whole world's waiting for you to do it now, don't disappoint!!

Looking forward to Christmas now, haha.. Still wondering how should we celebrate Christmas with Tyler??
