Been trying out new recipes for Tyler, so doing a post here on it so that any interested mummies could try too!

 Macaroni Pasta

Ingredients

Del Monte Tomato Paste
Macaroni
Green Pepper
Minced Meat
Garlic
Oil
Water

Salt (Optional)

1. Cook macaroni in boiling water until soft, then cut into smaller pieces.

2. Cut garlic into little pieces for frying.

3. Cut green pepper into desired size and amount.

4. Scoop around 2 teaspoons of the tomato paste and add some water to it. If its not enough later on, then add more.

5. Add a little oil into the frying pan, size of a 20 cent coin.

6. Add garlic and fry till slightly brownish.

7. Add green pepper, fry a bit and add around 30mls of water. Cook the green pepper till soft. If water is not enough then add more.

8. Add minced meat and fry for 2 mins then add the macaroni.

9. Add the tomato paste. Do taste whether the sweetness is what you want, if not just add more tomato paste. Add a little pinch of salt if you like.

Olivia Says: Tyler loves this cause its so sweet! And easy to cook too.. For the minced meat, you can try adding a little hot water to the meat and stir around before you add it into the frying pan, so that it won't be too big piece for your child.

Wondering how to do the chicken stock, vegetables stock and cheese sauce?

Homemade Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

50-60g Grated Cheddar Cheese/Parmesan Cheese
300ml Fresh Whole Cow's Milk
2-3tbs Wholemeal Flour
30g Unsalted Butter

1. Melt the butter using low heat.

2. Add in the flour and stir the flour in the butter.

3. Add the milk bit by bit, stir the milk in until the the sauce is all smooth and well mixed together.

4. Continue to let it cook until the sauce starts to thicken and simmer, then remove from the heat and stir in the cheese.

It will be something like this...

Olivia Says: Great option for cooking pasta or just as a dip for cookies, fruits or bread! You can freeze the sauce in the freezer in a airtight container and heat it up when you need. Do note that once defroze cannot refreeze again, so pack in several small containers!!

See how Tyler loves this?

For Chicken Stock, its super easy!!

1. Get 1 Whole Chicken Bones.

2. Remove the fats from it as much as you can.

3. Cook it with enough water to cover the bones for 3 hrs.

For Vegetable Stock, its almost the same just that you need more ingredients. Add any vegetables that you desire and meat bones and leek. Boil for 2 hrs.

For the stocks you can put them in little plastic bags, clear ones, and store them in the freezer, using them when you need.
