Out With Enling

Needed to go get some stuff so got Enling to accompany me out!

Beware though, lots of camwhoring pics in this post, so skip this post if you don't want to see!!

It all started in the cab...

Hair colour look so nice and bright here lor, but its really not that nice! Sobs, I wanna go dye my hair...

Totally dig this pic!! Nice lighting at the right time...

We headed to Bras Basah first to check out some art things I need, then took a train to Vivo!!

Been taking public transport out lately, save money!! But seriously hate the crowd lor, and the shitty waiting time!!

Went to walked around at Vivo a while, then we settled down at a chill out place for some drinks. And because Enling was in the mood for liqour that day, so we ordered some beer!

The nice view from where we were sitting..

And I started playing with my camera again.. lol..

We went to the ladies after that. Always wonder why girls like to take pictures in the toilet?? Cause the lighting is so damn nice!!

End of the day, I was so tired! Probably also because I've more or less switched myself to normal timings, sleeping early and waking up early, so I get tired early too! But its good too, cause I am more refreshed in the day, and I can accompany Tyler more.

Personally, I really love waking up at 6am, cause the sun is not up yet, and its so cooling, the air is so fresh! But I don't wake up that early lah, I need more sleep, so nowadays I try to sleep before 12am, and wake up when Tyler do, which is around 9plus.

By the way, I read about this article that says some parents, because their childrens' chinese is not very good, so they hope that the gov can have a ruling that the marks for chinese not be considered into the exam's marks. I feel that its so selfish of them to think so, cause there are so many other children out there who are able to cope with chinese or even excel in it. And being chinese, its a MUST that you speak your language.

Hell, even some angmohs learn chinese also lor..

Although I know a lot of parents are very worried over their child's grades, but what are you teaching them, when they can't handle that topic and you tell them to give it up? Seriously I think, why kids are unable to learn chinese is because:

1. They don't speak chinese at home.

2. They've always been forced to learn it, and it makes them hate it even more.

3. They don't feel that its important, because a lot of people that they associate with don't speak it.

Perhaps some parents are unable to teach their child, because they themselves don't speak chinese. But I feel that all the more they should learn the language with their children. Cause at least, to the child, they know that you are learning it with them, and it will make them more interested in the topic.

Its just like if you don't eat vegetables, you can't expect your kids to eat them.

Chinese is definitely harder to learn but more reading, more speaking helps. Even our ministers have to learn it.

Anyway, just some ranting on my part. Cause I just don't understand why because of grades they expect kids to give up learning chinese. Because I believe that whatever they are going to learn, its to benefit them in the long run, not just for academic results.

Nothing is too hard, if you've got the heart to conquer it. Learn to love it rather than always fighting against it.
