Single Parents

Although our mindsets are opening up and people are not as conservative as before, but some things it is still hard to accept for our society. One of which is single parenting.

It's quite common nowadays to hear about your friend having a shot-gun marriage or your friend's friend being a single dad or mum.

Having a complete family or a single parent family, its always with the same goal, that is to provide the best that they can for their child.

However, there is still people who discriminate single parents.

Even government ain't offering much help to them. Like they don't have a share for the baby bonus.

When will we all start opening up and start recognizing the existence of them??

It is not easy bringing up a child, especially with everything rising in prices. And it's even more not easy for a single parent.

Emotionally, they have to be the mum and dad to their child. And financially, they have to provide everything.

Maybe one of the reasons why government ain't offering much help is because they don't want to encourage it. You know, maybe some people who don't wish to get married but they wish to have a child. But in my point of view, it should be quite rare lor..

And I think every one hope to have a happy and complete family for their child, but not everyone can.

Since this is a case then all the more they should be offered more perks and privileges.

And to people who tend to discriminate single parents, thinking usually their child tends to be turn bad when they grow up because they don't have a complete family, please do also take note that there are a lot of other spoilt and rude kids I've seen around coming from a complete and rich family too.

How the child turn out to be depends on how you educate him and how much time and love you give him.



Not by whether he's going to a branded school or whether you earn a lot or whether he have both mummy and daddy.

Please do remember behind everyone there is a story. Don't judge them because you will never know what they had gone through and maybe you won't be able to be as strong as them.

To all single mummies or daddies out there,

Being a parent is already very great, but being a single parent needs to give 2 times more effort.
